Texas Concealed Handgun License
One Day - Ten Hours - 8am-6pm
Texas Concealed Handgun License Course – This is a 10-15 hour instruction course mandated by The State of Texas for those wishing to apply for a Texas concealed handgun license. This course consists of two parts, the classroom portion and range instruction/qualification. The following subjects are addressed: Legal Aspects of the CHL, Communications – Non-Violent Dispute Resolution, Safe Handling of Handguns, and Basic Marksmanship. (Non-NRA Course)
Participants in this course are required to bring the following: a Handgun (Minimum Size is a 38 Caliber Revolver or 9mm Semiautomatic), all handguns should be in good repair and have no modifications that will make the weapon less safe, 100 rounds of factory ammunition for a revolver or semi-auto pistol (The following ammunition companies are the only ones allowed to be used during qualification: Blount, Inc, CCI, Hornandy MFG, Federal Cartridge Co, Winchester, Fiocchi of America, Accurate-Ultra Max, 4 W Ammunition, Black Hills, PMC, and Remington Arms Co), Eye-Ear and Head protection (Hat: baseball or bowie that will cover the head and area toward the face), No shorts will be allowed on the pistol range, Footwear shall be of type that the entire foot is covered
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your course more than seven days prior to the start date, you will be refunded your tuition in full. If you cancel your course seat less than seven days prior to the start date, you will lose your deposit.
If the class is rescheduled by the school you may receive a full refund when notified or choose to attend the new training date.
There is a minimum of 4 students needed for this class to begin. You will be notified if the class has been rescheduled due to a non-sufficient amount of attendees
