Michael S. Dikovitsky
Director
Lead Dignitary Protection & Law Enforcement Firearms
Instructor
Michael uses his twenty years of combined military police,
counter intelligence, and law enforcement experience with the
latest advanced concepts to provide the most realistic and up
to date training available today. He teaches advanced NRA
law enforcement firearms classes as a certified instructor in
Pistol, Rifle, and Shotgun. As a former Special Investigator, on
contract through USIS and OMNISEC for DOD, OPM, CBP and
ICE, he instructs continuing education seminars on national
security investigations, blackmail – extortion cases, and
counter intelligence operations. Michael also teaches the
mandatory State of Texas Commissioned Security Officers &
Dignitary Protection Officer Courses for security professionals.
NRA LEO and T.C.L.E.O.S.E. Certified classroom/firearms
Instructor. He has been appointed by the NRA as a Training
Counselor. Qualified Expert Marksman.
Michael Park
Dignitary Protection Instructor / Advisory Board Member
Michael D. Park retired with 30 years of law enforcement and
military intelligence experience. He was recruited by the United
States Marshals Service after serving as an Army staff
sergeant E-6 during the Vietnam-era and four years in the
Special Operations Division of the Metropolitan Police
Department in Washington, D.C. As a graduate of the
Counterintelligence Officer, Agent and Technicians School
plus a career professional U.S. Marshal Supervisor and
Inspector he served in special operations and special
programs involving national security scope, internal affairs,
dignitary protection, high threat witness security and the
investigation and apprehension of armed and dangerous
fugitives.
Liam White
Law Enforcement Defense Tactics Trainer, Dignitary
Protection Instructor
Liam started his career as a British Airborne Soldier, and then
a United Kingdom Bobbie. As an unarmed law enforcement
officer in the UK, he knew unarmed defensive tactics was a key
element to the survival of his brothers in Blue. Liam achieved
a black belt instructor title in the Japanese Art of Ninjutsu, Ju
Jitsu, Aikido, and the Russian Art of Combat Sambo, and
Systema. Liam ventured from Law Enforcement to Dignitary
Protection. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Security
& Risk Management and is aiming for his Masters in Anti
Terrorism Studies. Liam has coordinated with security
involving the Royal Family and U.S. Presidential Staff. He is
highly skilled in the Dignitary Protection Field and teaches
internationally.
Samuel W. Coffman
Law Enforcement - Tactical Less than Lethal Weapons &
Firearms Instructor
Sam is currently a full-time Officer with the Tarrant
County Sheriff’s Department located in Texas. He is a
Dignitary Protection Specialist, T.C.L.E.O.S.E. Certified
classroom/firearms Instructor. Certified Law Enforcement -
Tactical Less than Lethal Weapons Instructor. Sam also a
Level III Commissioned Security Officer Instructor and
instructs for agencies licensed under the Texas Department of
Public Safety - Private Security Bureau.
Michael Horton
Chief Public Saftey Dive Instructor
Mike is a18 year veteran officer with the Dallas Police
Department. He started his 13 year Active Army career with the
82nd Airborne. Infantry, Anti Tank, Recon and Demolition. He
then moved to JFK Special Warfare Bn. as a Special Operation
Medical Sergeant, and then a 10th Mountain Division Medical
Platoon Sergeant. After ETSing he served Active Reserve with
a Mobile Field Hospital in NY. He also served in the Navy
reserve unit as a Gunners mate, Combat Instructor with the
“Old Pros” Seabee Detachment.
Mike started cave diving with some SF divers in the late 70s
when “Technical Divers” were the bad boys of diving. Whiled
assigned to the 82nd he learned the salvage trade by working
as a “Hose Monkey” (Tender) to Montgomery Underwater
Salvage. Mike has done inland commercial work and owned
his own dive shop, Scuba Park, and PSD Training Company.
Whiled working with the DPD Mike wrote the Public Safety
Diver Training Manual and devolved the program that IANTD
(International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers) use’s
to train PSD divers world wide. Mike was instrumental in
starting and developing the first permanent Dallas Police Dive
unit. In addition to certifying PSD divers around the US. Mike
has trained such prestige units, as the Kenny Bucksport Team
that supports the Secret Service at the George Bush
compound and the Belize Special Unite. Mike presently is
assigned to the DPD Central Patrol division and run his own
Military Simulation Paintball field.
Robert Tiffany
Anti-Terrorism and Assistant Firearms Instructor
Robert started his career with the US Navy in 1993. During
deployments to the Persian Gulf, he was decorated for his part
in tactical operations boarding suspicious ships. Robert was
stationed in Europe as a Navy Investigator, and later was
assigned into Spec-Ops. Serving as a Personal Protection
Specialist in Europe, he was assigned to protect a Base
Commander, Political Dignitaries, and Music Stars like the
group Three Doors Down. He qualified as a small arms and
anti terrorism instructor. After deployments to Afghanistan and
then Iraq, he became injured in an explosion. Robert worked
state side and was medically retired after 15 years. After a brief
stint as a Deputy Sheriff he finally settled in Red Oak, Texas to
work for the U.S. Small Arms Training School.
W. Brian Pinkerton
Assistant Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor
Brian started his career with the U.S. Air Force, and continued
on into the security field as a graduate of the nationally
recognized EPI (Executive Protection Institute). As a Nine Lives
Member he progressed his skills by participating in numerous
advanced classes through U.S. Small Arms Training School.
Brian is a Dignitary Protection Specialist and oversees million
of dollars worth of assets daily. He is a very skilled small
arms weapons handler, with an expert rating.
Stephen Dikovitsky
Firearms Instructor
Assistant Team Coach
Stephen started his firearms career as a Jr. Olympic rifle
contender, and team captain sponsored by the American
Legion in Mineola, Texas. He continued on and obtained a
certification as a NRA Certified Firearms Instructor and
Range Safety Officer. His passion for firearms now leads
him to help others overcome the fear of competition.
Stephen's has a medical background as an EMT - PCT, and
is deployed on occasions as a commissioned security
officer in national disaster areas.
Dan Graeber
Senior Firearms Instructor and Advisory Board Member
Dan is a seasoned Professional Trainer, Instructor ,and
Senior NRA Firearms Training Counselor. He is results
oriented with over 20 years experience. Dan is an audio visual
expert who traveled worldwide to military and government
secure locations to train local on-site personnel on classified
projects. Dan is also a Non-lethal Force, Texas Concealed
Handgun instructor and Wlderness First Responder.
Bob Curtis
Dignitary Protection & Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor
Bob has 33 years of Law Enforcement experience. Adding to
his 32 years of Law Enforcement, Bob has obtained his
Master Peace Officer thru T.C.L.E.O.S.E. and a MS in Public
Adminstration, and a BS in Criminal Justice. He has over 3000
in service hours of training. He has a specialty in Crime Scene
Investigation, Traffic Investigation/ Reconstruction, and
instructing in Tactical Firearms specializing in AR-15 and AK-
47.
Kyle Tipton
Lead Dignitary Protection Specialist & Firearms Instructor
Kyle, formerly a United States Deputy Marshal, and
Department of State Contrctor, has over 20 years of Dignitary
Protection Experience. His expertise is overseeing protection
teams in the corporate world with extensive international and
maritime knowledge. Conversational in Spanish with an
understanding of the French and Arabic languages. When not
on assignment, Kyle enjoys teaching the Texas Concealed
Handgun Licsence Course.
Shannon Seaback
Defensive Tactics Trainer,
Firearms Instructor
Mr. Seaback started his career in the medical field, he
enlisted in the U.S. Navy and trained very hard to become a
Special Forces Combat Medic. He graduated from both the
Special Warfare Combatant Craft Crewman School, Class
#038 and the first half of 18D USSOCOM Medical Sergeant
Training Course. His real time professional career as a
Special Forces EMT/Paramedic, was working with covert
Special Warfare boat teams that supported SEAL, Special
Forces, DEA, FBI, and foreign government missions. Along
with regular military duties, he performed numerous
emergency medical training scenarios with his teammates
and with many of these groups. In additional to the special
warfare training, Mr. Seaback started martial arts training at an
early age and achieved Black Belt Instructor status in many
martial arts disciplines. He is a skilled small arms expert,
Dignitary Protection Specialist and Assistant Law Enforcement
Firearms Instructor with U.S. Small Arms Training School.

Eli Smith
Assistant Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor
From a Minnesota farmer to a dignitary protection Specialist,
Eli started his foundation as a graduate of the nationally
recognized ESI (Executive Security International) school. He
continued to advance his talents by participating in numerous
advanced classes through U.S. Small Arms Training School .
Eli is a Dignitary Protection Specialist and is a very skilled
small arms weapons handler, with an expert rating.
Kenny Rapp
Assistant Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor
Ken started his career with the U.S. Air Force for ten years, and
is a Golf War Veteran. He has continued on by training and
working as an Investigator and Dignitary Protection Specialist
for U.S. Small Arms Training School in Dallas, TX. He is a
skilled small arm expert and Assistant Law Enforcement
Firearms Instructor. Ken also assists with Dignitary Protection
Training.
Ronald Shultz
Staff Chaplain
Pastor Shultz retired from the Army in 1998 and published two
books. Married to his childhood sweetheart, he dedicates his
time counseling and praying with the multitudes on his active
web ministry at www.mavmin.org. He can be contacted at
mavmin@live.com. The U.S. Small Arms Training School is
actively involved with active military and law enforcement
personnel. Pastor Shultz has offered his services to those
who seek the Lord's guidance
Jason Harber
Emergencey Radio Operator, Assistant Firearms Instructor
Jason began his career as a security, surveillance, access
control, and RF systems technician, providing services to both
public and private clients. He brought that technical experience
with him into law enforcement. Jason provided temporary
protective services to FEMA facilities in the aftermath of Katrina
in New Orleans and witnessed how important preparation and
communication was during a disaster. He returned home to
his career in protective services but also began training others
in disaster preparation and communications most recently
serving as the training officer and incident commander for a
county wide emergency communications group. Jason
returned briefly to the technical field as communications
technician and field engineer applying his law enforcement
and emergency operations experience to servicing RF
communications systems for Federal, State, and Local law
enforcement agencies.
James "BO" Byrd
Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor
Bo is our most recent Law Enforcement and Civilian
Instructor here at U.S. Small Arms Training School. He is a
U.S Naval veteran with 10 years experience in the Private
Security field. BO is certified to teach the LEO Patrol Rifle,
Handgun/Shotgun, and Tactical Firearm Operations. In
addition he is also certified to teach a multitude of NRA
Civilian Courses. He is a definitely a dedicated student as
well as Instructor, if he is not actively teaching a class he is
attending one in order to keep his skill’s sharpened and find
new and improved methods of instruction. Bo is a member
of ILEETA and ILEFTI.
Aaron Stevens
Firearms Instructor
Aaron began his career in the U.S. Army in 1986 as a
Calvary Scout. After taking an interest in law enforcement,
he re-enlisted in the Security Police career field in the USAF
where he spent the remainder of his fourteen years of
service. While in the Air Force, he was responsible for both
law enforcement duties and the security of various high
priority assets in locations around the globe. Aaron is
building upon his previous experience through U.S. Small
Arms Training School, where he is NRA Certified Rifle and
Pistol Instructor.
